Hanil Express Ferries operate two car with passenger ferries and one passenger only high speed ferry between Wando, Chuja and Jeju Island. There are up to four car ferry departure / arrivals per day as well as four high-speed passenger only voyages each day of the week.

On Hanil Express Ferries you'll find a duty free shop selling a large selection of perfumes, cigarettes, beer, wine, spirit, sweets and clothes at very affordable prices. You'll also find all the amenities expected of a modern day ferry.

Departure Procedure Since it is domestic travel, check-in procedures are quite simple. Walk-on passengers are asked to arrive at the passenger terminal at least 30 minutes prior to departure. Passengers bringing vehicles are asked to arrive at the appropriate departure gate at least 2-3 hours before departure for note issuance and boarding. Duty Free Shopping Visitors with outgoing plane tickets may shop at the duty-free shops available at select terminals, but are advised to complete boarding procedures an hour before the departure time as duty-free shops can only be entered after boarding procedures have been completed. Credit cards as well as American dollars and Japanese yen are accepted.

Although there are a variety of restaurants and coffee shops located inside the ship, visitors may bring along some snacks of their own. Cell phones are allowed on board. But please note that due to the limited cell phone coverage, the battery will drain much faster.

Ticket Reservations

Reservations can be made at the ferry terminal or online at www.ferryto.cz from three months to one day before departure (as long as seats are available). Anyone who wishes to bring their car onto a ferry must sign up for the service when making their ticket reservation. When making a reservation, please provide your English name as it appears on your passport, telephone number and if requested your travel itinerary. Reservation procedures are completed and guaranteed when full payment is received.

VERY IMPORTANT: Passengers who are not Korean citizens and who are not already in Korea may only make a reservation online via www.ferryto.cz. Cost of tickets purchased online are billed in the passengers choice of GBP £ or USD $.
